lengths, perhaps a little hard wrapping might be in order:

I was a touch disappointed that the purported links into the flashing
squares went nowhere when each could have gone to your various volumes
of work...

Now to some more serious, even if mundane things. Consider using a good
strict doctype and validate the HTML. Also perhaps consider not using
deprecated markup in favour of CSS,
