It's long overdue that engineering and computing get rid of
the jounalists', poets, newspress influence.

Don't others also get annoyed at the absurd line-break
hyphenating like:--

> ...in par-
> ticular, two program...
> ...reverse order, res-
> ulting in an evaluator...
> ...analyse the time re-
> quirements of any ...sufficient to show the deriv-
> ation process .......

And the linux mans have this stupid style too, plus the
big left blank-margin, apparently for making pencil-notes.

It seems as if the orginal authors, hand their creations
to the 'printers' who use inappropriate newspaper techniques
to show the 'publication'.

Did Knuth advocate " res-
ulting.." ?

Well, that's why the people with actual science, engineering, and
medicine
brains invented Optical Menus, Flat Screen HDTV,  XML, C++, All-In-
One Printers,
Distributed Processing, and  Compact Flourescent Lighting, rather
than
  Optical Computers for the idiots.

  MP3, MPEG, CD+rw, DVD-rw, CD-rom, and DVD-rom rather than more ASCII
bit maps
  for the diiots.

Fiber Optics and USB, rather than more elevators for the idiots.

And 3D Holograms, Laser Pointers, and Atomic Clock Wristwatchs
rather than
more backstage passes, for the idiots
.
And GPS and Digital-Terrain Mapping rather more Roman Times
Headlines for the idiots.

And Self-Assembling Robots and Self-Replicating Machines, rather
than
more coffee mugs and copiers for the idiots.

And AUVs. Light Sticks, and Thermoelectric Cooling rather than more
paperboys for the idiots.

And Microwave Cooling, Pv Cell Energy, Biodiesel, Cell Phones, and
Drones,
rather than more Lockheed Contracts for the idiots.
