Need help on how to type set a partitioned matrix in a bmatrix environment. I tried using \hdotsfor and \vdots to type set the vertical and horizontal dotted lines within the matrix but the result is unsatisfactory. Any one knows how to do it right? Thanks in advance.

Have you looked at my preceding post ?
