Dear all,

I'm writing an article which consist out of two columns. After page 4 or
whatever I want a landscape picture spread over the whole page. So I used
the landscape package. That works great except.... from the point I'm
inserting the picture the text stops and leave that page partial blank en
start again after the landscape picture. Also I tried the sidewaysfigure
environment from the rotating package but then LaTeX places the figure
landscaped in one column. So what I want is that the text just continues on
page 4 and the landscaped figure is on page 5 and that thereafter the text
continues on page 6. The text has to be in two columns and the picture has
to be landscaped on one page. I hope I'm clear enough.

Thanks!!

Jan

there's sidewaysfigure* (and sidewaystable*) environments in rotating,
for just this job. mind you, i had to scan the source for this, and
i'm supposed to be in charge of the beastly package ;-)
