emacs mode for .dtx files

I find that I am writing a lot of .dtx files currently.

Is there an emacs mode to help?

As the documentation part is a TeX comment, then it doesn't get the
benefit of the TeX mode.

I've tried playing around with the mmm-mode for emacs (allows multiple
major modes), but without much success. A conflict between a % being
a TeX comment and starting a TeX formatted region!

Check out swiftex.el's doctex-mode. swiftex is available from CTAN.
