Is there a way to have latex justify the paragraph, without breaking
the words at the end of the line with dashes, like the Microsoft Word
justification, where it just adjusts the spacing between the words
instead of breaking up the last word.
Thanks
Breaking words with dashes is called "hyphenation", so you
may have more luck in your searches using that.
To stop hyphenation:
http://www.tex.ac.uk/cgi-bin/texfaq2html?label=hyphoff
To emulate the line-break choices of MS word (with hyphenation
disabled):
\tolerance=1
\emergencystretch=\maxdimen
\hyphenpenalty=10000
\hbadness=10000
