Subject: capitalizing author names in BiBTeX?

Hi everyone,
i would like to capitalize the author's names (Smith, J. -> SMITH, J.)in
my bibliography at the end of the document. Working with the
plain.bst--file, I didn't find a way to manage this automatically.
Therefore, I hope that there is a .bst--hacker who can tell me if there
is a style--file that can deal with the problem or how to manipulate the
plain.bst to produce the desired output.

Thanks in advance
