Does anyone know if there are any DC area SGML groups?
Interested especially in Northern VA.

Thanks much,

There's a SIG-SGML in SIGCAT; that's about it.

I haven't heard of one.  It's a great idea.  There are alot
of SGML Consultants in the Washington, D.C. area, I bet we
could generate enough interest in getting one started.
Any takers?  Personally I prefer a Montgomery County, Maryland
location along the I-270 corridor |-).

This is a good question.  I have given this some thought
in the last few days and haven't come to any conclusions.
Unfortunately, where I work is not condusive to outside,
afterhours meetings.

We would only need access to a small conference room in
a Central location.  I am sure we can put our heads
together and come up with a suitable location.  I
will put out a couple of feelers and see if anyone
will be willing to donate a spare conference room
for a D.C. SGML User Group Meeting.  Most will say
SGML -- huh |-).

In the meantime, anyone who is interested in participating
could send an e-mail to me at har...@eccnet.com, I will
start a mailing list so we can take some of the discussion
off-line.

Happy 4th of July!  Going to brave the crowds and see the
Washington fireworks this evening.

I live in Columbia, MD, but work in Lanham (PG County).

The question is where would be a good place to meet?
