I help run a website for an organization. Sometimes we put PDF files on the site. I just heard from a Mac user that he can't open our PDF files. We use PDF precisely to prevent such problems. I wonder if anyone can tell me what may cause this? I don't know any details about error message and so, but I know the PDF files are usually made from Microsoft Word.... more »

My apologies if this is a really basic question, but I've searched for the answer and can't find it. I'm using Word 2000 and Adobe Reader 9. Does anyone know of any software which will take a landscape 2-up pdf page, (that is, the single page viewable on screen contains say pages 15 and 16 of the original material) and allow you to split it into two single pages? pdftk - bad characters after flatten

Hi, we do have a problem when flattening a pdf trough pdftk. We are using some special characters (central european fonts - example: šľťž) that we desperately need, but after flatten these characters are replaced with an empty space.
