I’m making PDF from hand-coded PostScript, and in particular have
made
http://www.jdawiseman.com/port/20101202_gbp15.pdf

With the like of /FoodMenu_0 on the stack the PostScript executes
> mark exch /Dest exch /View [/FitH PageHeight] /DEST pdfmark

This is intended to create the nameddest “FoodMenu_0”. But linking
http://www.jdawiseman.com/port/20101202_gbp15.pdf#FoodMenu_0
doesn’t work.

Two possibilities.
-- The nameddest isn’t in the file.
-- The linking doesn’t work on a Mac with Preview.

Please, is there a tool that can list the valid nameddests in a PDF
file?

PS, FYI, a link to that PostScript:
www.jdawiseman.com/papers/placemat/placemat.html

May be a problem of Preview. No problem with Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat.

Adobe Acrobat can list the Destinations.

Thank you. The word “destinations” was what I needed: View >
