Can anyone help me with the following:
I would like to create a pdf from an A1 AutoCAD drawing then print the
resulting file to a HP650C
plotter and retain the original scale.
So far I have created the file and tried to print, with fit to page off, to
no avail. The way so far has
been by "tweaking" within "Custom Paper Sizes" at the printing stage. Surely
there must be an easier method.
Any tips appreciated.

try to plot your drawing to a file, then import such a file to your document,
should work. a file named *.plt is widely accepted and you should not have any
problems while importing. in autocad configure your printer to plot to file,
or if you cannot, add new printer. i used to plot to files by standard hp
plotter driver, usually 7550 series. this works really fine, no problems with
scalling, adjusting and so on.
