My group is currently running BroadVision QuickSilver 2.0.0 on Win XP
SP2. Has anyone encountered any issues when upgrading to QuickSilver
Version 3.0?

to
take car for translation:
===============
If you are using Trados (SDL) translation memory: QS30 Ascii files are not
supported by Trados S-tagger.

You can stil resave (also by lisp with
(mid:save *doc-editor* :format :ascii :version 7.0 :force t)

) to QS20 Ascii, but you will lost the QS30 unicode informations and could
get some trouble.
For this reason our QS30 version is stil sleeping on the disk.

Trados first did not want to develop their filter, but is now working on it
for QS30.
http://www.pluslingua.de have an own filter to trados and they can offer
translations of unicode QS30 files with trados.

Maybe the transit filter is working better, but i also heard, that not all
characters are without problems - has anyone exoperiens with transit and
QS30?

Opening QS20 Dokuments:

====================

you will get an stickup for choosing re-maping or not. This can be supressd
by

(stk-disable stk:font-charset-remap)

when resaving all your documents

Greetings
Udo
