Has anyone tried installing Quicksilver or Ileaf on Vista ?
I notice it doesn't show up on the various Vista-compatible
lists. If it works on Vista, will the legacy files open if
they're stored on an NTFS partition ?

Greetings:

I know for a fact that Interleaf 5 does not work on XP. It tries to
open a COM4 port and bombs out. I created a COM3 and a COM4 port and
on Device Manager I see a teeny-tiny exclamation point to the left of
the COM4 icon, but Interleaf 5 still will not boot. I expect this
behavior on Vista unless Vista has a native COM4 port already
available. Someone suggested I try to run the whole thing under VMWare
instead.

Best regards,

I seem to remember I once got Interleaf 5 to run under XP - or was that
Win98. It wont install from the installation diskettes though. I copied
an installation from an old DOS machine and made adjustments on the XP
machine.

Good to see you are still monitoring this newsgroup Randyl.

People,

Quicksilver 1.6 runs on XP, but of course there are newer versions.
No mention of Vista/QS on the Broadvision website.
