Subject: perle terminal servers
We have 12 iolan+ rack 16 port chase/perle terminal servers. One works, all
the others fail all port tests including AUI, 10baseT and 10base2. RS232
tester shows all LEDs same as the known good one. The software has been
reprogrammed and the flash chip has been swapped, all to no avail. Perle
limited lifetime warranty does not cover multiple port failure. on testing
the ports, port 1 says DCD input or DTR output faulty, CTS input or RTS
output is faulty and DSR input or DTR ouput is faulty. All other serial
ports say DCD input or DTR output is faulty. Adapter cables are used and
loopback plugs are inserted.

Please help

TIA  Gavin
