Putty Settings

I have been trying to push Putty settings across all users on one PC
but have not been able to. I have been able to send them to the
desired host but the color and other terminal setting are not also
pushed. Is there a way to do this?

Exporting the settings to a file as described here:
http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/0.61/htmldoc/Chapter4.html#config-file
and then running the resulting file on the other system works for me.
(I can't say about color, as I think I'm using the default colors.)

To amplify a little, on Windows, Putty stores settings in the Registry -
including color and other terminal settings.

Because they are in the registry, they can be user-specific. You may
need to export the relevant part of the registry and import it for each
user so that Windows saves it as part of the user's profile.

I don't fully† understand Windows profiles but in Windows-domains, users
often have roaming profiles stored individually on the Windows domain
server and so probably need changes to be applied individually.
Doubtless MS have domain-admin tools for pushing sets of registry
changes to groups of users.

Ah, good to know, thanks RGB, for posting these details. (My systems
are still XP, with me as Administrator, so simpler for me right now, but
I won't be on XP forever of course, so I'll want to hang on to this...)
