Thanks, Peter!
I've had a renewed interest in my TI-74 (b/c a professor of mine said of a
little probability problem to his students, "You could probably write a
small program in Java to do that." and I thought "Why would I need anything
that complicated, bet it wouldn't take long to write on my TI-74 and might
be handy during a test!"), but I sold my PCIF interface a few years aback.
Hoping to get a hold of a new one.

The schematic for the PCIF is available from several sources. If you're
relatively handy with a soldering iron and a little time, you could
"roll your own."
Here's one place ftp://ftp.whtech.com/hexbus_cc40_ti74/PC_Interface.png
3 IC's and a handful of assorted parts. Doesn't even look like any of
the parts are that difficult to find.

Peter,
Bless you for maintaining this wonderful tool!

Ha! Funny you mention this, considering I've been talking about my bad
soldering skills on comp.sys.cbm... looking for a few pointers.
Thanks, I will look at it. I missed the auction I was looking to bid on,
thanks to oversleeping!
Okay, first pointer, don't hold onto the hot end of the soldering iron!
