What weapon uses the "stone arrows" in ToD? It's been so long, I forgot. Never in my battles I found any bow that uses them, yet the general store sells them. In retrospect, this game has a LOT of freakin' complexity, for a TI-99/4A game made in '82. The puzzles (ie safes) are fun to solve, the magic spells are useful(trap finder, esp, etc), and it seems that everythin... more »

TI59 card write error (flashing 21) - fix?

Anyone know how to get the card reader to work again on a TI59? It appears to write ok (i.e. without error), but if I try to read the card back in (to the same bank, after turning off the machine) all I can get is a flashing '21' error code (which I presume means read error). Any tips welcomed! I got a brand new battery pack for the machine, and it still seems to... more »

SVD 1's on eBay

Greetings, For those who are not aware I have SVD 1's on eBay. They are assembled and tested and include the edge card adapters needed to plug them into the TI99 floppy cable. Heya, I'm testing around a bit with the TI-Link stuff. I've set up my TI-83 (in fact, TI-82 STATS) with a custom-made serial adapter (COM1 or /dev/ttyS0). So far I've got a working TiLP on Windows and Ubuntu, everything runs well. But, when I try to capture the live hex stream on the console, I get no input/output whatsoever.... more »
