Are those the "compact" ones that had no expansion bus?

Otherwise, find an ISA bus IDE controller card (just an interface) and dig
out an IDE drive. Or, CompactFlash cards have an IDE mode, you just have
to map the connections.

MIchael

I've recently acquired a 1000SL and a 1000TL/3. They're fine machines with interesting features - but the one common problem I'm dealing with is the lack of reasonably priced mass storage for them. I've been following the XT-CFv3 project ([link]) but until it's ready, I'm looking for alternatives. Does anyone have any turn-key suggestions?

I realize this request is 12 years old, but are you still looking for the manuals? I have both and can scan if you need them.

I have a mess of them in storage. They are being stored in a climate controlled area and was working when they were removed. If you are still interested contact me via email and we can discuss pricing and shipping arrangements.

Good luck. I remember them as being as expensive, if not more so, than
the actual Model 100, and you'd still end up with a limited computer.

Maybe when they were being cleared out the price became viable, I can't
remember how low they got at the end. But I do remember that I was never
tempted even at that point, so they must have stayed relatively high.

Hi All, looking for a DVI. Promise to give it a good home as I am still using my Model 102 (the DVI would be for the M100) for writing projects. Obviously been trolling eBay - but lost the last one to come collector. If you have a spare one you'd be willing to part with - please reach out.

I think I have one out in the garage... That's the one with 4 pens on the
edge and you manually change them, right? Serial interface...

I don't know if it works. Been sitting on the shelf for 16 years...

Drop a message at the CoCo list ([link]), there are lots of knowledgeable folk there on these regards. If you're on Facebook there is a CoCo group in there too though I side with the list as the most effective information tool.

-- RP
