I have 2 systems, let me call them sysa and sysb. Sysa is connected to a special network "nets" via the IP/V7 product because we need the failover feature. Because of the very special structure of that network we are not able to add sysb to that network with the same functionality as sysa. That would require a redesign. The redesign has already been initiated but because of a bunch of partners involved that will take a lot of time.
So my sysb has to send messages into nets using the IP-connection on sysa. Unfortunately it is not possible to use Expand because you cannot use Expand to use IP/V6 on a remote system.
Does anybody have the same problem and probably a solution for that?
My approach would be to create a program accepting IP-connections and -messages and forwarding everything using a second IP-connection. But if someone already created such a program or another solution, I would not like to "reinvent the wheel".

Too bad you cannot use legacy/conventional TCP/IP temposrily. The you
could just use the GATEWAY feature.

Conventional IP would be much easier because it can be used via Expand.
It seems that we have to write that routing process ourselves.
