Hi,

Regrettably I am having to support telnet access for certain users on a
new Solaris 10 cluster. Is there any way of ensuring that only
particular users will be able to log in this way?

I've had a look at PAM, but I can't find a way of specifying particular
users to permit or deny.

Thanks
- Ian

TCPWrappers may do what you want.

Really? I thought tcpwrappers could only restrict by IP address, but
maybe I'm wrong...

If you deny all ip addresses then effectively telnet is disabled.
