Hello,

Just in case anyone has missed it, Donkeysoft's Bounce has been
released for the Sinclair ZX81 + 16K. You may download it from the
RWAP Forums at:

http://www.rwapservices.co.uk/ZX80_ZX81/forums/new-zx81-games-t552.html#p6716

and you may see the source code by reading my blog at
shaunbebbington.blogspot.com

Here's some feedback for the production:

"That's great, son, but shouldn't you be making games for more modern
computers?" - my Mum.

"Dad, are you making the ball bounce?" - Ruby Mae.

Thanks,

Shaun.

What could be more modern than a PC with only 4 chips?

I'll ask my Mum that question ;-)

I've started working on my next game, to be called Shoot. It's going
to be a shooty-type game for the ZX81 + 16K.

When I have a game engine working, I'll need testers, so contact me if
you could help.

Regards,

Shaun.

Why not make an announcement here when you have finished 'Shoot'.

Shoot was released a two or three weeks ago through the ZX81 forums
over at www.rwapsoftware.co.uk - check out the Games sub-forum in the
'New ZX81 Games' sticky.

It's okay, but I'm happier with Bounce from a game-play point of view.

Regards,

Shaun.

Bounce seems to have more motivation (try one more time...). The
concept of Shoot is not so bad, though.

My Favourite is (i think it's called) Adventure. Where you have
oil-cans for robot-enemies and cheese against mouse-attacks. Treasure
in punds-sterling too :)

Thanks for the feedback - it's always frustrating when games work
better in your head ;-)

Shaun.
