Like my brother-in-law used to say, sharing is sharing. :p

New feature: Something better than the usual trace command. A PC
logging tool that can be found when you open the debugger. Trace as
much as your heart desires, and you can go back and see every single
thing that was executed since you started logging!

There are so many things that I like about this emulator. One of them
is the ability to boost the saving noise so that when no virtual tape
is inserted, you can actually hear what's being saved or connect your
sound card's Line out to something else besides the speakers.

Cheers.

Does anyone have any opinions on the best spectrum emulator for
Windows XP? I'm sure zxbruno will but any others? I've recently
bought an XP notebook for email and web browsing only so won't be
putting linux on it to prevent it being used for anything
money-earning but thought it might make quite a good spectrum! It's
even got a black case, tiny speaker and a crap keyboard.

My opinion is that there is no "best" emulator for XP. You will have
to use a combination of 2 or more if you use several features like me.
One emulator might be better at something but lack something else.
That's why I use SpecEmu, Spectaculator, Fuse, Spin and Speccy. If I
remember correctly there was a poll on WOS some time ago and SpecEmu
won based of accuracy, quickly followed by Fuse. Still, if you
consider what I mentioned and usability, you'll probably reach the
same conclusion as me: There is no "better" emulator. It all depends
on what you use and how much you like it when you use it. :)
As for development, the Spin team, Fuse team and Woody are all doing a
heck of a job.
