Subject: ANN: vbSpec v1.20 for Windows 95/98/NT/2000
vbSpec version 1.20 is now available from:-

  http://freestuff.grok.co.uk/vbspec/

Three distributions are available on the site: GPL'd source code only,
binary files + Spectrum ROM images, and a nice easy-to-use InstallShield
installer that installs the binary, ROM images, runtime libraries, and a
handful of games.

New features include:-

* Emulates 48K Spectrum, Spectrum 128 and Spectrum +2
* Emulates sound (both beeper and full AY sound)
* Can now save both .SNA and .Z80 snapshots
* Contains a bunch of optimisations and bug fixes

You'll need a 266MHz PII or better to get full speed emulation out of a
Spectrum 128 + AY sound.

In my humble (but obviously somewhat biased) opinion, vbSpec is actually
evolving into a quite a well-featured and usable Spectrum emulator for
Windows. I assure you that nobody is more surprised about this than me.

Any comments are welcomed.
