You are cordially invited to a meetup at the Green Man, Great Portland
Street, London, on Saturday 6 February, from around 1-2pm.
"As usual, the typical meet is a few rounds of beer and retro chat,
perhaps followed by a meal, and sometimes enlivened by somebody
bringing weird bits of hardware along (or Gasman finding something new
and interesting to emulate on his laptop). Non-CSSers, and wives etc.,
are welcome but inevitably mystified." -PEC
Bring directional microphones, so you can hear each other
speak over the Green Man's new sound system.
We can always decamp to somewhere quieter once everyone has arrived.

I shall be there.
cheers,
Dave
You could return to the first css meeting place, if it's still open.
(gypsy moth by what's left of the cutty sark... not that I'll be going, far

But, but, that's Saahf Landan!
I was so annoyed with them after the fire when they said "it's ok, the
rigging was all off site". None of that was original anyway. They
could have built three replicas or more for what they are spending on
preserving a bit of charred timber.
Only JUST. It's greenwich, not feckin old kent road, y'know. It's right next
to the river and 2 minutes walk from the DLR station.

Will there be any chaos tournements? If so, sign me up.
Or not. (The raww.orgy meetup is down for the same weekend... d'oh)
Someone needs to get their priorities straight...

Huh? I hadn't seen anything about it. It seems a bit late to be announcing
it two weeks in advance!
Eq.
Three weeks. But yeah.
Bod's just confirmed that it's going to be at his place in Yeovil, and
should be putting out a proper announcement this weekend.

Gypsy Moth! I was racking my brains the other day trying to work out
what that pub was called.
If I'm in London that day, which is possible, I may well pop in and say
hello for a bit.
Looks like I can't make it now, real life gets in the way.
cheers,
Dave
All that conjures up is an arse
I suppose it's time I came to a London meet, rather than just the Oxford
ones, what with me living in London and all.

Unfortunately, due to a combination of real life, British Rail and TfL,
what should be about an hour's journey for me is now looking like two
and a half, so I'm going to bail on this one.
Apologies.

Ok, but you have to organize the next one (Oxford is fine) or I'm
never going to get to buy you that pint! :)
I'm just heading out now, and should be there in about an hour or so.
I'm having TfL issues as well, and I live in central London.
An HOUR? for a short tube trip? You could WALK it there in a shorter time.

Probably. However, Archway was closed, the whole of the Hammersmith &
City line was closed (including Great Portland Street station). Kings
Cross has a new layout now so you can't get to the Northern Line from
the original ticket hall. I ended up getting a bus to Holloway Road,
Picadilly line to Kings Cross, Victoria line to Warren Street (which I
was surprised was open) and walking from there. Took me about 45
minutes.
