Hi - I wanted to reduce the used memory in my Pilot, so I saved the datebook
on the Palm Desktop, then renamed the file.

Then I backdated the Pilot to 12/31/2007, then I 'PURGED' the Pilot. The
procedure erased all the datebook data before 12/31/2007. Fine so far.

But then a few days later, I needed to find an activity in August of 2007.
I told the Palm Desktop to use the old file, but it wouldn't open. It turns
out, the file extension is .DAT on the old 'archived data' file not .DBA
extension. Palm requires a .DBA extension.

I tried renaming the file with a .DBA extension, but that did not work.

Is there a way to convert the file from a .DAT to a .DBA that the Palm
Desktop will be able to read?

TIA

---
Phil
