Miss some of the Palms features

I got a new BlackBerry and am loving it. Stand Alone PDA's are all but dead with the exception of the iPod Touch. But on the old Palm I miss some of the Palm's features and one of these is the Voice Memo app. My BB does not sync voice memos and requires one to drag and drop from the drive to the desktop, you cant easily catagorize voice memos, give them... more »

Palm Zire 72 dead battery

My battery on my Zire 72 has failed. I know that Pocket Solutions does repairs on these. Has anyone had an experience with them? Or should I just not bother with a device almost 6 years old. Stand Alone (non Phone PDA's) are all but dead these days with the exception of the iPod Touch. John

I've got beau coups backups of my TX's address book and other files, but the TX has gone missing and Palm Desktop seems mired in some sort of security scheme where it's highly device-specific. On my previous laptop it worked perfectly, with a very robust connection. Now I have a new laptop with the same Bluetooth hardware/software/rev, but cannot get hotsync set up. It may well be my old memory... Is there a step-by-step guide anywhere? Thanks! Lon
