I suspect that you may have replied to a spambot (or whatever it
might be called) and it fervently hopes that people use the phone
number and email addresses that were supplied. But I may be wrong.
Care to find out by letting your fingers do the dialing? :)

receiving end of a barrage of spam :-)

Its not unusual for newbies to post their full details in usenet posts, same
as if they were sending an email. Might just be a sig they set up for all
outgoing messages.
