Had a good visit with Dave Dick a week or so ago and we both talked about
the possibility of another get together. Obviously, it would be somewhat
different to the Oric-meets of old 'cos there's not so much Oric stuff to
deal. I guess it would be more of a social get together.

Anyone game for it?

Potentially, yes. We'd need a venue people would be able to get to and with
folk up North it might be an idea to hold it somewhere in the Midlands.
Dave's not too far from my Mum's, so I could probably get there if we had it
in Aylesbury again. There may be the odd Frenchman that would want to come
so Aylesbury would make it a bit easier for them, perhaps.

Some of us do have Oric gear to get rid of and maybe people will be
interested in swapping stuff ?

I'm in Herefordshire so I vote we have it in the pub 10 metres from my
house.

Seriously though, I kinda would like to have it in Aylesbury again. It might
not be the most convenient location but it sort of became the Oric meet-up
'place' and it might be nice to stick to tradition? In fairness though, I
wouldn't have a problem with it being anywhere in the UK.

Aylesbury would be good. I'll turn up if it is.

Okay. Anyone have any serious objections to Aylesbury at some point in 2008?
Could we start to get a list of potential attendees?

Here's mine - so now we have 1 person.
Dave will come too, so we have 2.

Let's roll!

I'd like to come, but it depend on when it was etc as to whether I'd be able
to make it. I'm sure Jonathan B would like to as well and Simon Ullyatt may
come if it was organised.

Moving forward... how does Saturday, July 19 later this year sound for
everyone?

Aylesbury is looking likely as the location. Venue to be determined by
numbers attending.

I know not everyone reads this group here. It would be really useful if we
could attract as much interest as possible. Could we spread the word and
confirm that this date is generally ok?
