Dumping roms on a cube, under Nextstep 3.3

I've read on various sites that the ROMS on next cube motherboards are
susceptible to bitrot. Before mine dies, I would like to save a copy of
its rom so at least I can go through the hell of finding the equipment
to burn it back into a prom. However my attempts at reading where I
think the rom would be in /dev/mem seemed not to work. Is it 128k
starting at 0x00000000?
