Evans and Sutherland question

[Fred Velijanian]

Is this the right group to discuss Evans and Sutherland O/S
related questions? The O/S on the ESV is apparently the
same as RISC/OS, but I cannot find an E&S newsgroup.

Yes, yes, and yes. :-)

People from E&S monitor this newsgroup, and ES/os is a variant of
RISC/os 4.52 with extra device drivers, a few bug fixes, etc. There
is no E&S newsgroup because noone has voted it into existence. System
type questions can be posed here (since we're basically just a MIPS
box from the CPU/OS perspective). Graphics questions might be better
served on one of these newsgroups:

comp.windows.x
comp.windows.x.pex
