G3 sees 256 MB SDRAM DIMMs as 128 MB

We ordered 4 256MB SDRAM DIMMs for our G3. When we put them in, they were working fine. Our G4 was having problems. The 512 SDRAM DIMM in it was working in OS 9, but not in OS X. So I ordered a new 512 SDRAM DIMM and put in it, along with 2 of the 256MB DIMMs from the G3 and then put the old 512MB DIMM in the G3 with the other 2 256MB DIMMs, not knowing... more »

I just purchased a new 1gz eMac. I have an iMac 400 running 10.3.8. I thought I'd be smart and just duplicate the iMac on to the eMac and have my system and all my programs. OS 9 font in OS X

I'm trying to add the OS 9 font "New York" to OS X (since it doesn't seem to exist anymore on OS X). I found the FFIL file for the font on OS 9 (/System Folder/Fonts/New York), and then tried to get OS X's Font Book application to add it to it's list of fonts.
