Does anyone else find the mouse acceleration is OSX different enough
from OS 9 that it drives them crazy? I do...anyone know of a fix for
it?

Absolutely! The mouse is okay in OS X if I haven't used OS 9 in a while,
but once I have to boot to 9, I realize just how slow the mouse is in X.
Same goes for browsing the internet -- it's so much faster in 9, but I get
used to it in X after a little while.

The OS X mouse system preference pane sucks. Here's one that allows a
greater variety of mouse speed settings:

Mine zips along just fine. Never did anything to the settings.

Mine does too -- it's fine, but it just seems so much faster in 9.2 ...it's
probably my imagination. I did see a link in one of these responses for an
update. I might try it.
