But being a tiny bit smarter & cheaper than the average featherless
parakeet,
i have taken the time to figure out how to circumvent this warning,
and continue printing.
And printing.
And printing.
And printing.
Big Full color pages with lots of greens and oranges.
And printing.
If you change the cartridge when it tells you to.
When the front indicator LCD has gone to zero,
And the exclaimation point is where the yellow box used to be...
You would be throwing away about a half a cartridge of ink.
Very, Very, VERY Expensive Ink.
( Which is actually very inexpensive, if they weren't so evil.
And HP used to be such a nice company too.

The Warning comes up in two parts;
One is on the computer screen, and you simply click the window off,
while shouting "SHUT UP!"
And the other in on The Printer, which may display a wide variety of
messages, but in each case, simply press OK.
If printing doesn't recommence on it's own, you may have to start the
printing cycle over again...
Occasionally; It appears to hang--- and to cure that, you have to find
the printer activity window, which you can bring up, if it's not
hidden under your document, by clicking on the HP Icon on the Dock.
Then you may have to delete the last job and start over. This is rare
however.
One curious thing that i've noticed, is that it appears to have given
up,
or only erratically warns me that i'm out of ink now...???
So then: you just keep using the 'bad' cartridge until the prints are
visibly horrible...!

Alrighty - thanks! Seems that my HP is an older one without that degree
of forced interaction, so I shouldn't have any worries.
