I was looking for an on-line tool that can generate a visual, graphic
sitemap of an existing website.
Example:
http://weblogs.macromedia.com/xd/archives/sitemap.png
Some automated solution that is more straightforward than just
creating mockups in Photoshop/Illustrator, in the same fashion that
Dreamweaver was able to do painlessly before Adobe took over and in
their infinite wisdom decided to remove that feature.
There seems to be no such an on-line tool and since I'm working on a
Mac, the only software available is OmniGraffle, which combined with a
Google Sitemap generator and some Applescript , can do the job.
It seems like there's no other option available, for Mac at least.
I wonder if that AppleScript code could be adapted to render pages as
visual maps in any other application?
Thank you
