Xeikon variable data

Hello...

I need help about variable data printing. We have Agfa Chromapress DCP 32D
(Xeikon) supported by Intelistream and Agfa iRip. What software (plugin for
Quark) can we use for variable data merging to pages? Xeikon recomended
Personalizer-X, that is no longer on market. I can't even find downloadable
version on net. There are two solutions: PrintShop mail and Design merge.
I'm not shore are they usuable for our rip? Agfa iRip uses VDF data format
for variable text and images... Is there posibility to upgrade rip to be
able tu use VPS, VIPP, PPML or any other format that is suported by
PrintShop mail?

Is there any link to download Personalizer-X, it's free now? Is it ever
created for PC?

Explanation in Xeikon book is very short, and my English is not very good.
They strongly advice using Personalizer-X, Quark plug-in that is not on
market any more. I don't have book here, but as I remember it is explained
that I have to create page in Quark with low resolution images on places
where I wont variable data to be, an then.....
I beleive that Chromapress print server uses one page with fixed layout (ps,
pdf, tiff) and variable data in multipage eps format. I can create multipage
post script variable data pages. Do I have to convert those pages to eps?
Any suggestions?
