You may already know this, but it bears repeating. Disassembling
Litiium-chemistry batteries is very risky. Elemental Lithium is very
reactive, and can explode under certain conditions when exposed to the
atmosphere. In addition, unregulated charging/discharging of Lithium
cells may result in fire or explosion. Unless you know what constitutes
adequate precautions against these possibilities, AND have adequate
facilities for taking such precautions, I suggest that you rethink this
project.

I might be saying things that you already know, and if you are
experienced in this area, I apologize. On the other hand, one mistake
can remove a hand, your vision, or kill you. In any event, be careful.
