Anyone here used a off-line translation program that he/she really likes?

I'm taking music lesson from a musician that doesn't speak English, and
I know 5-6 Spanish words.

Text-to-speech would be very nice.

I suppose that it would be too much to ask for a speech-to-text
capability, but that would be darn cool.

I'm running a mac book pro and VM Fusion+XP, so I suppose an Windows XP
program would work, but I rather not if I can help it.
