Here's the sequence....
a) I open a PSD file from a folder, say "Gray.psd" in Pixelmator, an
application that I use in place of Photoshop.
b) I modify the file in Pixelmator and save it on the desktop, say as
"Blue.psd".
c) I then drag the file from the desktop to a folder.
e) I then open a different PSD file from a different folder, this file also
named "Gray.psd".
f) I modify the file in Pixelmator and save it on the desktop, again as
"Blue.psd".
This is where the oddity occurs. When the icon of the just saved file appears
it first has the image of the previously saved file with the same name, and
then about a second or two later the image changes to that of the just saved
file.
No catastrophe, but an amusing oddity that was a bit startling the first time
I saw it.

Sounds like some sort of caching bug. : /

Bug, or just something less than instantaneous updating of the affected
files?
