|
| |
I have installed the Fujitsu MHT2030AT ( 30GB IDE - Ultra ATA/100 ATA-6 - 4200RPM ) on Powerbook 5300ce with 64MB RAM and it's non-Apple hard drive. I was checking the website that it should be working with Powerbook 5300's compatibilities. Is that correct and I was not sure if it is compatible with Fujitsu?... more »

How does one tell which "generation" of iPod has been purchased?
|
| |
My son has a 15Gig iPod. I understand, from a MacAddict article from awhile back, that I should be able to replace the battery myself and I probably will give it a try. I'm not sure as to which "generation" this iPod is, as it bears a 2003 date on the back side but I think we bought it in 2004. This information is... more »

G3 sees 256 MB SDRAM DIMMs as 128 MB
|
| |
We ordered 4 256MB SDRAM DIMMs for our G3. When we put them in, they were working fine. Our G4 was having problems. The 512 SDRAM DIMM in it was working in OS 9, but not in OS X. So I ordered a new 512 SDRAM DIMM and put in it, along with 2 of the 256MB DIMMs from the G3 and then put the old 512MB DIMM in the G3 with the other 2 256MB DIMMs, not knowing... more »
