Monitor Power Cable

I need to hook up a second monitor to my computer (IIci w/ a portrait display
card) and have a slight problem. Both the monitors have cables that are
supposed to hook into the computer (power cables, that is) but there is only
one space for a monitor power hookup. The computer center at my college
doesn't have any cables that will allow me to hook up directly to a surge
protector. Does anyone out there know where I can get such a cable and what it
is called (I have a 13" Apple Trinitron monitor)? Thanks
