Hi !
I扉e got a Performa 630 with TV/Video and a 15" Multisync. Your
problem appears only in 832 x 624 Mode, 800 x 600 works fine.

Then the problem is that the Apple 16" monitor is a fixed frequency/
fixed resolution monitor. It only operates at 832 X 624.

I just posted a message earlier about this same problem. There is a
res-edit patch that will allow you to watch TV in 832x624. The only side
effect is that you cannot record in that resolution. In order to record,
you must switch back to 640x480. If you want the res-edit patch for the
Finder, email me and I will send it to you. I have had no other errors
with it and I have used if for about 5-6 months.
