The G4 iBook uses a parallel Ultra ATA/100 2.5-inch notebook hard drive.
Any compatible drive will do.

I want to point out that, although this _can_ be a do-it-yourself job,
it's far from simple. I recommend studying the relevant guide from
iFixit.com before deciding to proceed.
