So I picked up a "USBGear" serial adapter for my Handspring cradle.

I found the driver and installed it, but now what? I see no way to
set speed, stop bits, etc. I looked for a man page to no avail.

I was looking at specs for ipods, ipads and iphones and while reading up on the processor used in the latest ipad (a6x) found this in the wikipedia entry ( [link] ) :
"The A6X has no RAM as a part of the chip package"
How do you substitute RAM?

Wireless connect with HP PhotoSmart 2570 printer

I thought I had read the appropriate manual, and it didn't help. My wireless
connections shows a wirelkess HP Printer available, but I have no idea how to access it. Any hints?
I'm on a MacBook Pro under 10.8.3, with a wireless connection to a NetCom cable modem. It

About a month and a half ago I purchased two 3TB LaCie "Porsche Design" drives for both storage and for SuperDuper! backups. I then noticed that the activity light on one of the drives continually flickered and the one on the other drive did not. Mac Mini 2.26 Ghz late 2009 model with 22- and 24-inch monitors, with a 160 G external Western Digital Firewire drive (circa 2006)
The drive has started causing monitor flickering when it cycles up and it's getting kind of noisy with the cycling down. If I dismount the drive but leave it turned on, no flicker.... more »
