USBGear serial adapter

So I picked up a "USBGear" serial adapter for my Handspring cradle.

I found the driver and installed it, but now what? I see no way to
set speed, stop bits, etc. I looked for a man page to no avail.

You don't set those directly in the driver. Whatever app is going to run
data through it does that. You look in /dev to find out what the
interface is called (it'll have a name probably something like
"tty.usbserial-A6005vpP") and then point the app at it.

What Mac application are you connecting to the serial port?
