I want to know the name of this old mac game I used to play

[Can You Name the GAME?]

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have been trying to find this
game for about 5 years.

The opening scene had some kind of a bomb explosion in the parking
garage underneath an office building. I know there was a car
involved. The main character was a normal guy with no weapons. Later
on in the game you acquire some kind of hunchback bodyguard. It is a
2 Dimensional game. The graphics are much more advanced then a Mario
Brothers type game. Some of the cut scenes were done in 3 D. The
first level is based in a jungle and you have to swing on a rope to
avoid being attacked. You then have to avoid gigantic slugs by
jumping on them. When you complete a certain amount of levels you
become the hunchback guy. If I recall correctly, the explosion at the
beginning of the game electrocutes you somehow and you are now kind of
like the Hulk, where sometimes you are normal and sometimes you are
this beast. One level opens with you being stuck in a cage hanging on
the ceiling of a dungeon. You have to sway it back in forth to brake
the cage off of the ceiling and then escape. There is a level towards
the very end where you have to swim through underground water
tunnels. To survive you need to find the air pockets in the tunnels.
There is a lot of jumping and swinging involved in this game.

I know I rambled a little bit, but these are just random memories of
the game. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

It was called Out of This World, or Another World on the Sega CD. There
was a sequel that was only available for the Sega CD.
