The game runs, but pauses for a fraction of a second about every second
or so, both in the menus and when connected to a server. Obviously, this
makes it hard to play because controlling the player is near impossible
with the delays. It's not related to network bandwidth or anything like
that, because it happens in the menus when I'm not connected to a
server. This same exact game, when installed on my previous Mac G5
tower, ran great.
COD2 was released quite some time ago, before the Mac Pro existed, I
believe. I'm wondering if this is a problem with the code running on an
eight core machine.
I haven't gotten a copy of COD4 yet; but I expect it will run fine on
the Mac Pro.
Anyone else have COD2 running on a Mac Pro?
