I heard that the US government just made telegraph an official communication
standard; it's no longer a draft standard. :D

Perhaps now there will be firmware updates that bring all of Apple's "n"
Airport devices up to the standard. Such as simultaneous dual band for
the early AirPort n base stations and Time Capsule.

Probably no need, or maybe only minor tweaks.

It sounds like the ratified standard has no significant changes from the
draft that Apple was already using.

That was a hardware change - the latest Airport Extreme and Time Capsule
contain two radios, older models only have one. You can't possibly do
this with an older model.
