The company that bought up the rights to Canvas are particularly bad. 
Canvas started as a Mac only product that is now only available on the 
PC, and hasn't been supported on the Mac for 6 years or so. In addition, 
their file format is not compatible with most any other graphics 
program, meaning that if I were to switch, I would have to first convert 
hundreds of files to a different format in Canvas before I could edit 
them in another program. That is the only reason I keep an SL partition 
on my 2 Macs.
