Clicking on "Check for Updates" in iTunes/Apps doesn't do anything.

This morning, I clicked on "Check for Updates" in iTunes 10.7 on the
bottom of the Apps window, and nothing happened. I shut down iTunes
and restarted it, but no change. I haven't yet rebooted. Has
anybody else had this problem?

In article <b2i7a8pnidt2i6mue...@4ax.com>,
Did you state a problem?

Obviously yes.

Resolved by rebooting. But I was curious whether anybody else had
observed that problem.

I haven't. Check for Updates (under the Apps category) works for me
every day. It either shows the list of available updates or pops up a
dialog saying "There are no updates available for any of the apps in
your iTunes library."

In case it is finger trouble, try the Command-R keyboard shortcut
("Reload Page" under the Store menu - the keyboard shortcut works even
though the menu item is greyed out).

It could be a communication problem - do you see the store if you click
on the iTunes Store item in the left column?

Yes, I did. I guess it was just a hiccup.

Maybe everything is up to date?

It didn't even check.

But testing now - if it's up to date, I get a window telling me so.
