I'd like to propose you a mind dilemma. It's about drawing and painting
and the general propose is, as always save money, time and get better
results.
All Mac users use SuperPaint for painting and Claris DrawII for drawing.
We spend many time pasting draws and picts from an application for
another. Many of us have already quit using Draw and use only SuperPaint
in is horrible draw mode.
Now the Dilemma: I'm about to buy some software to solve this problem. I
was reading a bit and I'm getting confused because it's a little
difficult to discern reality from publicity (oh! how I like all those
wonderful results putted into magazine publicity's!).
So getting the point: Claris Draw Professional and SuperPaint ? Canvas
3.0 ? Both ? None of them ?
If you experienced users on this matter are reading me now I would be
much appreciated for your comments and experienced reports.
You can reply me directly by e-mail to lqu...@animal.inescn.pt and I'll
summarise and post your opinions to the net.
Thanks in advance
Luis Quinta
I don't, but never mind... :)

Well, you won't get too far with painting in MacDraw Pro :)
MacDraw Pro is a _drawing_ package, plain and simple. No
painting whatsoever (unless they've suddenly added it to v1.5,
which I doubt). Canvas _does_ have paint capabilities, but I can't
really comment on version 3 'cause we don't have it here yet...

... NOT !
I use Painter for painting (natch) and various toold for drawing - most
notably NOT Claris Draw.

Aldus FreeHand. I've worked with it before, and it's great, as long
as you want to output to PostScript devices. It's not as good for
plain PICT, but does well enough.
